A jubilant celebration for Grade 12 learners from Thabina Circuit Schools took place at Napscom High School last Friday. Ramoba High School and Pusela High School dominated the awards, while Mabushe and Sekaba High Schools received fewer but excelled in Maths and Science.
With a pass rate of over 90% in the second quarter of 2024, Circuit Manager Mrs. Mbalati delivered a strong message, urging every school to aim for a 100% pass rate. She encouraged teachers and principals not to fall behind, noting that Thabina ranks No. 4 in the Mopani District and among the top 20 in the province. She emphasized maintaining the high standards and striving for a 100% pass rate.
Teachers who performed well were also awarded certificates. The Principal of Ramoba High School in Batlhabine Ba Mogoboya won the Best Physical Science Award, while Mafutsane excelled in Tourism.
Matseu-Tseu School and Pusela achieved a 100% pass rate in Sepedi, and Nelson Ramodike High School performed well in Accounting.
Pastors were invited to pray for and motivate the learners, making it a truly jubilant day for the circuit. Mam Modika from the Mopani West District presented awards for 100% pass rates to teachers and learners.
Traditional authorities, including Bakgaga Ba Maake and Batlhabine Ba Mogoboya, also sent messages of encouragement.
