United Kingdom investors visited Politsi macademia farm which managed by Wynard Espach on the 24 April 2024. It was a well received partnership of University of Limpopo and the farm.
Delegation of Batlhabine Traditional Authority led by its Chief Counsellor Mr Mogoboye Phalane, Norman Mogoboya and Mashile Phalane became the main visitors of the Matumi Trail in the area in which they were invited by Mapula Lesailane and Thabo Lebelo.
Upon arrival a brief introduction on the partnership were tabled in which investors are interested in agro-proccessing, water usage, renewable energy and green energy technologies. They were impressed with the way macadamia farm was managed in which most 84% of output are exported to overseas.
It was very interesting to trail at the Matumi bush trail, enjoy fresh water and nuts. Vistors showed interest to invest in the farm and also at the Batlhabine Community.
